Kaeng Pha Dai is located at Village No. 4, Ban Huai Luek, Muang Yai Sub-district, Wiang Kaen District. Chiang Rai Away from the district to the east about 14 kilometers is an important tourist attraction of Tambon Muang Yai. There is an area of approximately 17 rai. It is a recreational park where people can see beautiful nature especially during the months of November – May; there will be reduced water making it possible to see rocks protruding from the river covered with natural background coupled with clean air, and overlooking the Mekong River at the Lao People's Democratic Republic. The rapids are not only covered with sand but also contain many small rocks. As of which these stones will be the source of the trigger as well as the underwater rapids. The sandy beach is also a place to bathe in the sand of the birds, and there are rock rapids that look like sticks in the Mekong River which is caused by the deposition of river sediments; so there are many waterfront plants, namely lemongrass, lemongrass. The cliffs in the Mekong River are submerged in the flooding season and emerges above the water in the low tide season with beautiful scenery, until there are tourists, both Thai and foreigners, come to take a small boat to see the beauty of the Mekong River. Tourists who come to visit Phu Chi Fa and Pha Tang will also visit Kaeng Pha Dai.
